After "The Last Samurai " back on the big screen the myth of the legendary Japanese samurai. The Universal Pictures is going to produce 47 Ronin, a millionaire-budget blockbuster in 3D, for release in 2012. The protagonist of the film revived Keanu Reeves .

Directed by Carl Erik Rinsch (director of commercials and music videos, "recommended" by Tony and Ridley Scott), the film based on a screenplay co-written by Hossein Amini and Chris Morgan . Already brought to the big screen in 1941 by Japanese filmmaker Kenji Mizoguchi in "Revenge of the 47 ronin ," is set in the eighteenth century, tells the story of a group of samurai fighting to avenge the death of their teacher .
